    If you sew perfect seams, nobody will believe you made it... mine generally pass the 6-foot test... from 6 feet away, it looks pretty good....

    Did you use a special tip on your soldering iron? I may have to try it on some scrap using my old el cheapo soldering iron.

    No special tip. I had even used for soldering. It is a cheapo from Walmart. Just had go slow enough for the heat to work. Worked great with a clean smooth edge.

    finished the tarp with pics

    Here are aa couple of pics of the finished product. It is huge. It is 11'8" along the peak and the peak is straight with no curve to it. The sides are 4'10". I may cut it down a little but will use it first and see. I also have made some bug net tubes with end pockets for the ridge line storage. (not shown)
