I used coroplast in college for various projects. I quickly discovered that cross-layering the corregations increased the rigidity significantly. I would always use twice as much material at half the thickness of other students, but my structures were always much stronger than theirs. Well, until the instructor caught on and started limiting the total material we could use. Then I started reinforcing with bamboo skewers, but I digeress.

I like this idea, one of the hardest things to find in the wilderness can often be a flat place to work. I am sitting here thinking of a way to make it more packable. Considering a rollable cutting mat, or similar thin plastic.

I have had huge success with flat bamboo strip, laid down like planking, with cloth glued to one side... flip it to non-glued side, it will hold rigidly flat. When done, it rolls into a tube shape.

For a smaller lightweight, I am going to test tonight Tyvek Tape (3 strips) on some other stripping or aluminum, and see how it works.

Something similar to this, but using my "Shug" throne 18oz Camp Stool as base.

.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

Looks like one of the TV tray tables we used to have as a kid.
