    thinking about adding doors...

to my BMJ for colder weather. Any thoughts or experience with condensation buildup when the doors are in use? I can see using one set to block any wind and maybe leaving half of the other end open for airflow.

I can close my tarp off almost totally without any doors. I have a "door" that I can put over the end closest to facing the wind direction if needed. It is fully removable, & I USUALLY only close off one end, for as you say, condensation can be an issue.
I only use the door when its going to get below about 30, so don't have any info on higher temps. Well, I have used it during a pretty vigorous T-Storm when I couldn't find any handy trees facing the right direction, But that was the day I found the door in RRG (it's a gear loft from an abandoned tent, fits my tarp Perfectly) & I could have walked about another mile to a site I know that would allow me to face the right way, but,,,,,,,,,
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
