As I am new to hammocks and DIY projects the only thing I have found so far that I regret is that I didn't start doing this stuff a long time ago. Every little thing I do, even buying a sewing machine and learning how to sew a simple seam, have been great. With that said I know that there will be plenty of frustrations that lay ahead.

    diy dehydrated backpack meals!

    terrible!!

i bought some stuff from the stores and thought "man, i can beat this!"

so i yank the dehydrator out, plug it up and start cranking. i watched youtube, read the books and recalled the lessons from my grandmother. i also threw my own substantial knowledge into the mix. too bad it was the wrong subject.

i thought i was making a nice travel and camp friendly batch of chili mac. what i got was bb's and bb's instead.

awful. you shoulda seen my son when he put it in his mouth. i thought he was gonna kill me.

    awful.

not eating on the trail saves bundles on weight!

Double layer IX TQ in ripstop outter shell with inner fleece lining. Came out just fine, but is really too hot for most uses except extreme cold
