I stopped using a bug net at all. I've sprayed my Nano 7 and clothes with permathrin, use bug spray if it seems buggy and, in the NC mountains, haven't had any issues.

the few nights I have been out the net is a subconscious safety thing, it's like I'm safe behind this "force field" and fall asleep. Even with no bugs - I still zip up the net. it's my personal little space.
I knew it, yep,I just knew they had a "force field" or super powers...

Last 2-3 weeks outside on weekends no bug net in southern Indiana,,we have had some nicer cool nites,,during the day seeing the flying nasties so If I were napping out side,,would use one still..
