Well, we had 4 members arrive (I figure they will chime in and self identify) with 3 of us camping in hammocks. Griz Bridge, Hennessy and Warbonnet were represented. Sadly, the recent drought prevented a campfire, but we made do - thanks to an enterprising member. Hiking is available for all levels of skill and endurance. From a stroll to a bridge over a pretty creek to much longer trip along a very pretty trail which is 32 miles long. I think that I will return for the Spring event as I understand that the wild flowers are in bloom then.
One surprising side feature was a trip to Tunk's Seafood across the lake from the camp area. Great food and view.
My own tale was that I rode my Harley over from Mississippi with my gear attached. It was late at night when I realized that there is a gravel road involved. I camped nearby to wait for daylight so I could ride a bit more safely. In the morning, I found our camp and joined in the fun.
