    LOL! I missed Everybody!!

I arrived at Red river Campground Friday afternoon about 3, got the last campsite and never saw anybody the whole weekend! LOLOL. There was a really nice gentleman in the campsite next door that has been at the sods every year since like 1968. I visited Bear Rocks, and down to the Red River. (most everything up and down public road 75 and the curve to the west at the bottom of the area. It was a pretty good shakedown for a brand new hammock, and my first solo outing in over 9 years. I posted a few photos.

    Wow!!!!

This was our first group hang and all I can say is...We had the time of our life!!!! Misaki aka Fire-Fly received her trail name by some of the best people we have ever met and spent time with. I want to also give a big THANK YOU to HappyCamper for putting this together and maybe we can get a chance to meet up with her sometime in the future. I will be making a video trip report of our hike and time with some of the best people that the world has to offer. I would also like to thank and I'm sure the others would agree...."JD"...for humpin' back to multiple vehicles for provisions and carrying that 500 pound bottle of "ROOT".....Thanks again for the wonderful time and hope to see you all again soon.

BTW....We are going to try to make it to the Fall MAHHA..so hope to see you there!!!

I think this is a good start, and it's already in "Trip Reports". I have a 58 second video glimpse to add later. As always, when I get together with other HF members I have fun, and I learn stuff. Thanks! (I spend 15 minutes looking for a small rock to put in my throw bag, but Joey just uses a chunk of cheese from his food bag. Brilliant! )

    +1, I like it.

    Joe: Great video, thank you.

I also want to add that this was a great trip, met up with some old friends,
and met some wonderful new people. As always it's nice to meet the people behind the names & posts.

Thanks Happy Camper, we missed you.
There were several toasts in your honor.
See you at the next hang.

USMCStang will have to provide you Saturday hike. I was busy fighting off bear. Would also like to thank JD for that 10 mile hike out and back up hill both ways through the snow carrying that 500lb Root Bottle, and a few other things.
