Ok, so are you gonna rule it or let it rule you?

Well I'm sort of in the awkward position of being a business owner who has been a bit too successful in building a group of really good clients. Keep them happy, and they keep my bank account happy. Don't keep them happy, and I suddenly have more free time to hike than I'd bargained for or work for someone else.

It does sound like a great hike, but I'll probably need to defer to those with paid days off.

You're just saying that because your brain still hasn't thawed from Roan Mountain! I've never seen so many heat packs worn by one person in my life!
    Glad you made it though.

Fair enough. Can't fault a man for being successful. Standing invitation for you, my friend. Maybe next time.

    Hey Hooch,
If I can arrange a couple of details, I'd like to hike that section. I'll get back to you soon as I know something.

Sounds like you're the guy for the job. After all, you are the Detail Man. Keep me posted, buddy!

Quick bump on this thread, in case anyone is interested. Thus far, it's Detail Man and I. Anyone else?

I recommend Carvers Gap North to Lake Watagua. Several balds and the lake! Nice hike.
