Best knot "hitches" for a tarp ridgeline

I use a continuous ridgeline on my tarp and want to get it as tight as possible. What is the best knot or hitch to get a good tight line? I use prussiks and micro binners to adjust the tarp and get the tarp tight but my ridgeline needs some work!

If you have examples please post. Thanks

Trucker's hitch is the best line for getting your ridgline taught. Very easy knot to learn as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywqx_3TLSd8

Agee. I bowline my RL to one tree and use the truckers hitch on the other end.

This is a nice quick-release knot for the other end of the RL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiBbktmCGXo

Doing a loop through the bow-line is a great idea too though! You could just keep it permanently on the end of the rope. Thanks RiverPirate!
