    Where to buy plastic snaps

Where can I buy plastic snaps to match the side snaps on a poncho.

If I hang an 80 x 44 poncho diagonally over my ridgeline I think I can create a half sock by snapping it to the edge of my hammock.

My idea is to sew one end of a 2" elastic strip to the hammock and then attach a snap to the other end. The purpose of the elastic is to provide some give because it will be a tight fit to attach the poncho.

I would still like to buy the snaps, but it occurred to me I may be able to attach the poncho to the hammock by using those elastic straps for keeping sheets on a bed.

They attach with a button like an old timey garter belt.
Do you think that snap would hurt the hammock?

    Thanks guys.
Pip, I go to Hancock Fabric a lot more than before I joined HF (before HF that would be zero times), but I still dont know everything they carry.

    Aaron,
I actually used a home made grip clip to attach the poncho to the gathered end of the hammock. I didnt think about using them on the sides.
