    Hmmm I'm still looking for a place just like that. I have come to the idea that i'm more about the hang than the hike!

    Sometimes a quick trip is all you need. Next time you're in my neck of the woods the steaks are on me.

    The hanging is always great, and sometimes I enjoy a simple walk that gets me there over the long haul of hours worth of trekking as well. Plus the short walks makes it easier to have steak and potato dinner.

    On a side note anyone that is looking for a group hanging site in central North Carolina, this would be a great location. The site I stayed in had lots of great trees to hang from, I only chose what I did for the sunset view from the hammock. Down side is limit to 6 people per site, but with 9 sites on the side I stayed and another 15 on the other, I doubt that would cause a problem.
