    Indoor Hammock Fabric for Winter?

What fabric would you use for an indoor only hammock?

I love the feel of my 1.5 ripstop but in cooler temps it's cold on the old backside without a uq.

I have to retract it when not in use so using a uq just makes it more time consuming to take it down and set it up each time.

What would be warmer but still comfy for a DIY indoor only hammock?

I found a good cotton works great. Find some fabric similar to a bed sheet. You could even use a king size sheet. Washes well and sturdy enough for me at 300 lbs. Most any fabric will work, low to no stretch is the key. Breathability is another consideration.
On my indoor rig, I made a light uq and leave it attached, when folding the hammock away to one hook on the wall.
A lot of folks like mayan or brazilian weaved style hammocks for indoors too.

I would think that a two layer, cotton for support and fleece for built in insulation could be quite nice.

I'd choose some form of polyester. My kids have cotton hammocks over their beds, and each have had structural failures...

Or make a DL: cotton over polyester...

Actually I like the give of ripstop. Not stretchy exactly but it gives. That's one of the things that makes it comfortable to me.

A DL of some combination would do it quite well I think. I could just tack in a "liner" layer of fleece or an old flannel sheet on the inside of a ripstop DIY I have lying around.

Maybe I can give the flannel a somewhat slack fit so the nylon can still give. I just want it so stay in the hammock and not slide out...

    To the linen closet!

    Good thinking folks
