    Whatever a man "sews".....

......that he will also reap. I'm reaping the jokes right now. I picked up a thread injector yesterday off craigslist. Got a pretty good deal, cause the lady I bought it from only used it twice. It's barely two years old. Got the look, till I told her I was making gear, not sewing dresses. My wife, however has dubbed me Martha Stewart. The lady I bought it from looked for an hour, but could not find the manual. Lucky for me, Singer had a download for it. I got some ripstop and other items from Joanns. Got home and threaded the machine and did a few adjustments. I can't believe I got it right the first time. The stitches were perfect. I've never sewed a thing in my life before. First item to tackle was doing a Grizz mod on my Skeeter Beeter Pro(mods can be seen in the Grand Trunk section). I wanted to try my hand at making something, so I did a ridgeline organizer. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with the first projects. Next up is an Insultex underquilt. I'm lovin' this DIY stuff!

Your organizer looks great to me! I check Craigslist every day myself for a thread injector, so I can try my hand at DIY. I hope my first project looks as good as yours! :-)

Sharp looking (machine and gear), better than my first attempt at anything sewing related.

Never mind the looks, historically speaking tailoring (and sewing in general) was a trade dominated by men, embroidery was for women.

    Own it!

The addiction has definitely started with you. Great looking gear and a good looking machine! You should be very proud! I can't wait to see what else you are able to crank out.

Thankyou. Yes, there is an urge to get started on something else. Been watching your videos lately too. Good stuff!
