I like it very clean and roomy.
My room mate has currently taken up residence in my work space. He needed a place to stay more than I needed a work room. Or my brother needed Band space.

I'll only mention that it looks like you will be easily able to move the computer out of the way when you want to sew tarps or something larger than a stuff sack. I also have the 'fabric holding gap' behind my sewing desk, but there is nothing to the left but the desk edge; as I am right-handed, all my pins and tools are in a tray to the right of the machine/work zone.
can't wait to see the after-after picture.
KM (who sews in a completely different room than where the computer lives- it's the only way to get anything finished.)
Basement? what the heck is that?
I'm jealous of the extra space... my workshop is the kitchen table...

Not nearly as awesome as that!
For me, I basically will work any place I can sneak off to that doesn't have children tearing things up, or the Missus standing over me with hands on hips demanding why I am "playing around" when there are "things to be done" (must be a Mars/Venus thing going on because I can't figure out how my "things to be done" are getting relegated to the "playing around" category... alas, we are born for sorrows).
So, while I can have no overtly proclaimed "workspace", the whole family knows (but no one says it) that it's the garage--I just pull the van out so that I can actually move about (or, and it shames me to say this, I occasionally leave the van in the garage so that I have something to hide behind while I work).
You're gonna need a bigger hammock
My work space depends on what I'm working on.
- Sewing to be done? Diner table with wings pulled out.
- Stove building? Garage or Office desk.
- Working with Cordage? Couch while watching TV, or even sitting at my desk while at work.
Would be nice if I could get my home office clean enough to just do everything in there, but everytime I manage to get the room cleaned out more stuff magically appears the next day to fill and clutter it up yet again.

Geez, Knotty, it's so neat. I have a 24'x24' office over my garage, but it's a disaster. I have one corner dedicated to my three computers (I need more). Each computer has double monitors so I can run in dual-head mode and display twice as much information. Even if each computer had a 42" monitor, I would want two 42" monitors per PC. Once you go to dual-head, you'll never go back.
Another corner has been taken over by my wife for "holiday" storage - Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. Yet another corner is where I lay out my camping gear (I still haven't fully unpacked from the last trip). And the other corner is for a bed (I need my naps) and a hammock (I need my naps).
I'm going to have to organize the gear corner for a table and sewing machine. My mother-in-law doesn't sew anymore so I keep telling her I'm taking her machine. She keeps telling me that I am not yet ready to load the spindle by myself. So, I let her sew my snake skins and stuff sacks. When I get into DIY hammocks, tarps, and TQ/UQ, I don't think she'll be willing to help anymore. And she's 82 years old, and can't even understand why I don't just buy the crap I want.
I so need you to come clean and organze my wokshop

Here is my setup. One half the room (shown) is my work space with computer, satellite dish, TV/monitor with surround sound (woofer under the desk). The other half the room (not shown) is a weight machine and a elliptical excerciser. The closet that runs the length of the wall is my gear closet (and it's so full that I have a "DIY materials" closet in another room).
One shot is with the sewing machine set up. It stores in the desk in an area meant for a computer tower. The other shot is the same room except with the fly tying setup. Dual purpose, just like on the trail
I cut my fabric on the floor of my 20'x20' master bedroom, because it has the biggest uninterrupted space for rolling out yards of nylon.
