I had the superfly and only set it up once while testing. It's a great tarp but decided it was not for me. I didn't like the fuss of tying back the doors and messing with more shock cord, even though that's not a big deal. More to flap around in the wind. On trips where I'll have 60° and dry weather I just felt like I was overdoing it. I replaced it with the BMJ so I'll still have good coverage for rain and a nice porch mode option. The ability to add doors makes it the perfect setup year-round.

I have the mamajamba with door kit and panel pulls. Love it. I like the idea that I can leave the doors home when not needed.

the door kit weighs about 8oz. that's quite a bit of weight you can leave behind if you want, i would guess having the doors sewn on is a fraction lighter but not much

that's my thoughts too, i ordered the BMJ because i'm more likely to need the breeze and shade than protection from rain therefore no need for doors plus i can always add them on later if need be.
