Is the WBB your first camping hammock? It may be a case of just getting used to how it feels in the hammock. Especially if those first two hangs were just short naps and not overnight hangs. Just a thought.

We must, indeed, all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately. - Ben Franklin

I shift and sleep on both sides during the night. Have not had this problem.

Are you laying on your right side? Either way it seems to me like you're body is laying to close to the zipper side. Try to get closer to the shelf side. Make sure you're not treating that side like a barrier.
I have never had that feeling with the blackbird. I have with the traveler and it was simply my body being to close to one side. You will get it. Like most, it took me maybe 10 times to figure out how to have a comfortable lay.
I am shorter & heavier than you, but never felt that I was going to fall out of my WBBB 1.7 Dbl. And I never did fall out! I side-sleep. and roll back and forth several times per night, but have not had any issues.

I had this problem in my DIY clone. I found that loosening my suspension and rotating my whipping toward the zipper side helped. It caused the suspension to pull on the whipping from a different area. Kind of like rotating the hammock body. Hope my explanation can be understood. So much of this stuff is so hard to explain.

Thanks everyone for your input and yes, I understood it all, you explained things quite well.
Yup, sure is, first hammock ever. That is likely the crucial part.
As others have also mentioned, I probably just need to figure it out, learn to hang.
The tips and tricks are very useful and I will try them out tonight.
At 6ft 2 and 280lbs I have never felt like I was going to fall out of my BB. I have just the opposite feeling, that there is no way I could fall out of it. I just got back from a 2 night group hang where I used mine. I sleep on my back and both sides.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
