I see it says a 10" bury but I also have seen a 12" bury on youtube vids. Does the 2" make a difference?

I think if you search for the DIY single sheet guides there is one for whoopie slings
I built mine with 10 in of bury and that seemed to work out fine for me.

I use 8 inch bury without extra stitching and it works fine for me so no worries.

I tried performing the bury step and had difficulties using a conductor as the "bullet". I'll just have to get right tool for the job.

If you want to end up with a 10" bury then pull the end through 12" and when you tighten it up you will typically end up with 10". I found that out on my first set when I ended up with 8" bury. Its not a problem I dont think but hope that helps.

According to Samson, all bury lengths are measured pre-bury.
