    Hammock Rocker Kit

    Hey Ever-Hangers!
I was just online ordering a new deck hammock ( a Pawleys Island, my Dads dream hammock) and came across this "rocking kit". Of course I got one.
Thought it would interest some here. I will bring it backpacking as I love "the rock!!"

Shug, I gotta agree with ya. "The swing" is one of the best parts of being in a hammock, IMO. It's like being a baby all over again, without the diapers.

You paid $18 for a tent stake and a piece of string?

I was thinking the same thing.

You could get a homeless person to rock you to sleep for a 6 pack. Nice thing is when someone looks at him funny just state he is thru-hiker.

I'm packing a 750 of Mr Jim this weekend if anyone wants to have the honor of rocking me to sleep. Chicks only need apply.

I was thinking about getting a cheap baby rocker and take the mechinism out and rig it to my hammock. The only thing stopping me is the clicking noise.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

Are you talking about the battery driven ones? The clicking noise is a repetitive sound that may make you fall asleep faster. Maybe you could get one that plays lullaby music too.

A lullaby, now your talking. What can I say, I'm not up on children's stuff.
