cool looking place
Nice shots Oskar....beautiful coastal surroundings.
Ditto what everyone else said! What camera did you end up getting? Also, I'd be very interested to know what you do about your insulation situation. Thanks again for the incredible photos and journey.
I bought a Panasonic LX5. Seems to work well in low light. I only have one battery, so I didn't want to waste it the first night with hour-long exposures of the Milky Way. Some things you just have to remember without a photo.
Regarding insulation: the UQ probably just needs adjustment, so I'll experiment with that.
For top cover I guess I'll have to buy a TQ/SB with better insulation. I can't expect more from my current 15 year old synthetic SB. Having more stuff (i.e. clothes) as top insulation could work but would be bulky and would probably shift during the night.
Hey Oskar - thanks for the trip report and the beautiful pictures. That's a lovely place.
That's good stuff. Nice work on the pics and thanks for sharing them. I need to go on a coastal trip in a bad way now. (Thanks for that too... )

To much time on your hands? Waste some time here
wow, I almost thought I was looking at shots of Lake Superior until I went back and saw you were from Sweden! Absolutely beautiful pics!! Days are getting shorter here too
Well Oskar, if you were trying to make folks jealous, it worked! <--See, I'm green with envy.
