I traveled through Zürich (Switzerland) this month and came across this oversized spreaderbar nethammock
almost closer to a cot or a flying mattress , the sheer size making it quite a comfortable place.
Thats certainly the most rugged Hammock i have come across in person haha
If i was homeless in Zürich i know where i`d come to sleep
Also in the apartmentcomplex where i stayed many people had hammocks up on their balcony ,
mostly mayan and brazilian ,some simple gatheredend-fabric hammocks, not a single spreaderbar-anomaly
So now i just came across this seemingly asymmetrical wooden hammock
Looks like a fun and really intersting project and it should withstand publicspace use
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Hitching around on this trip i have always been able to hang in comfort , making me a rather public hanger with dozens of cars and trucks waving by before it got sunny enough for me to leave the hammock
This was about the most exposed i've ever been though and thats not a countryroad but Frances most travelled highway
I'd never have slept so relaxed in that place without a hammock - made me glad i did not leave the BB behind to save weight .
The Constrictor suspension has worked flawlessly aswell , such an easy way to set up and take down
The Blackbird also got a new name recently when i lend it to a friend at a festival, astonished how its totally not uncomfortable she insisted on calling it the flying tent
And i converted a nice guy that usually sleeps in his VW camper - i hung between his buses door and a tree -
there will be another Blackbird flying to Germany soon
