not my place to organize this hike.. but i thought to offer a suggestion to Roadtorque: Reavis ranch 109 south. u need high clearance.

there is a moderate amount of elevation gain + mileage, about 1200+ feet and 6.5 miles but the apples may still be perfect. good weather up there.. unlike today's weird dust storm (eek!)

It looks like this didn't take off, so are you guys going to get something together for maybe mid November?

Let's do it. How about over Veteran's Day - November 10-12? Sedona, Secret Canyon?

I like that weekend but I couldn't get down there until Friday. I could stay through Monday though.

that could work for me too.. i have a housewarming party to host on Nov. 5th, and no solid plans after that.

this would be a great chance to try out your new te-wa Flurry, Mic.

That works great for me, especially since if it's done on Sat. With the possibility of moving at the end of that month I would love for another chance to use my winter gear before it becomes useless to me!

This sounds good. Great back yard choice for me. I can't commit yet but am 80% as of now. My son in law, possibly daughter, may join us also.
The older I get the better I used to be. Superhero status is near.
