kevlar or balistic nylon

Hi all. This isn't really a hammock related question, but I thought this would be the best place to ask. I lowsided my motorcycle recently and put a small hole in my textile jacket, so i am looking for some place that sells small patches of either heavy duty balistic nylon or kevlar. Anyone know where I can get that?

If you check some of the SOF, ( skin on Frame ) kayak building places they sell ballistic nylon because that's what they use as the skin. You can check with Seawolf Kayaks,,or,,Skin Boat School,,or,,Cape Falcon. There are others on the east coast but i don't know them.

You can get ballistic nylon from questoutfitters.com. I've seen Kevlar around, but don't remember exactly where. You are looking for Kevlar 29 though. It is the cloth version that doesn't need a reinforcement of some sort.

I've seen a patch of the ballistic stuff and the guy said he got it from a luggage manufacturer. They also sold heavy duty briefcases/laptop bags but I forget where he said. What ya riding there my stove-challenged friend?

OWFinc.com also has a 1680d ballistic nylon that's pretty rugged.

It's a 2001 Suzuki marauder. I plan on riding it to the fall mahha if you are going to be there
