    My NX 250

Here some pics of my NX 250 with Whoopies and Dutch clips.
I pack my set up in dry bags, on for the hammock, one for the tarp. Seeing that I don't pack the tarp with the hammok I find the sewn in pack bag to big, get it a lot smaller in the sil drybag. Might cut the original bag off..

Nicely done . . . makes me want to go set mine up right now . . .

. . . oh . . . right , it is set up in the basement, just waiting for me to have my sleep tonight.

    Thanks for the photos.

Yes, it is the vertex fly.
Incl. 8m continius ridge line, shock cord loops in the tie outs, figure of nine and Sea to Summit dry bag 500g ( on my non digital kitchen scale).
I always pack my tarp, hammock and sleeping bag in a dry bag, no matter if i am hiking or kayaking. Keeps them dry, but in case the tarp gets wet it keeps the rest in my bag from getting wet.

Looks good Holger, we'll have to get together sometime because I would love to have a look at the comparisons between your NX and my Tropical.

I just spent a couple of nights in mine after tent camping a few weeks ago and I have to say I prefer hanging anyday, so much better in almost every way.

My system is almost perfect except I wouldn't mind a larger tarp. Thinking about rigging my Sea 2 Summit 3x3m tarp instead of the Clark XL but I havent figured out the right way to do it yet, theres no tags underneath the tarp to hang the netting... I actually like the look of the terrarosa tarps so one of those might be on the 'wishlist' down the track.

I'm going down the coast after the school holidays and doing my first kayak camp up one of the rivers, I should be able to take more than usual because the kayak can hold a lot more than my pack, throw in a fishing rod, camp stool etc all the luxuries!

didnt realise there was so many hangers so close. Might have to organise a hike/hang, or even a yak n hang and get everyone together
