Would this work in the back yard?

I've got a patio in the back yard that has 6x6 posts. They aren't sunk into the cement, but the are anchored to the concrete. Would these work if I hang on the diagonal? (It's only ~10' straight across)

Yes, that will work just fine. You can hang between posts on 10' centers, fwiw, although you may have to get creative with suspension.

What he said. You may have to lose your whoopie and hook directly to some continuous loops.

It will work fantastically. Clean that sucker up and put your Turtledog stand just about anywhere.

That's what I wanted to hear. I have a WBBB XLC, and 20* incubator and burrow on the way and want to try them out.

The rafters will be the ones supporting most of your weight and keeping the posts from falling in. I hang from the rafters on my porch, and the posts that hold up that roof are 4x4's nailed to the TOP of the deck. Doesn't even creak when I climb in.
