Any opinions on this tarp?

I thought about getting the scout, but then I thought the guides tarp might be big enough for both myself and my boyfriend, meaning we would only need to bring one tarp. But after reading some other people's posts about two hammocks under one tarp I'm thinking perhaps having a tarp each would be better.

MEC is fantastic though. It's by far my favourite store! If you are a member long enough and spend enough there you can even get money back from the co-op since you are a member. I haven't gotten any yet, but my dad has been a member for years and has received money from them several times :-) For $5 its a great deal!

We tried the two hammocks under one tarp and it just didn't work, unless I brought the MEC super tarp, which you could literally throw a party under. Far too big to fit in the kayak and much more than I'd ever want to carry

That's good to know. I've started looking for a smaller individual tarp. I like the look of the Tad Pole. It isn't as crazy expensive as some of the others. Anyone used it?
