    Overwhelmed?

Ok so I want to use my hammock this winter and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the choices, the amount of info here is over the top fantastic but I'm having a hard time figuring out what I should get to use my hammock in the winter.
The things I need to learn
    1) Under quilt
    2) top quilt or use my sleeping bag for now
    3) winter tarp
    4) moisture control
    >proper ventalation
    >vapor barrier
    >keeping the underside dry

If I missed anything please tell me

Underquilt is the first priority. Hammock Gear and Warbonnet would be my first choices. Their prices are excellent, reviews are great, and I really like my Hammock Gear quilts.

Top Quilt is your second priority. Although I really love Hammock Gear, the Jack's R Better No Snivellers are very useful if you are trying to reduce pack weight. A sleeping bag will work fine, but will be heavy; if you have a mummy it will be a workout in gymnastics. But, with your HH, it isn't that bad. Supplement your quilts with pads to extend the range of your quilt.

The big tarp is nice, but not required. If you choose to use your sleeping bag, then get the tarp. The HH Silnylon Hex is a fine tarp.

Get a space blanket if you need a moisture barrier, but you may not need it.
