Yeah, I found that out too. Oops! Quilt looks awesome Mike. The 7d was much easier to work with than I anticipated. How did you do the closures at head & foot?

I did a rolled hem all the way around the quilt and simply quit sewing until I filled the quilt with down, then I put is back in the machine and finished sewing the gap.

Sorry Mike, I meant did you do snaps, velcro, etc

Oops! I completely miss-read that. I did snaps for the footbox.
I considered omni-tape as I have done that in the past and was happy with it.
But, for the sake of weight, I looked at other options and the #1 snaps at JoAnn's Fabrics was the lightest method of closure that I could find. I placed them 3" apart.

A note of caution: I haven't field tested the quilt yet, so I don't really know how they will hold. If I find that they separate, I will add a short lace at the top of the footbox to tie a bow. As long as the first snap doesn't let go, most likely the rest will hold.

I want to give a BIG thank you to HitchHiking for a great idea that I used in making my quilt. In his excellent video (see below) he cut out a cardboard template. Well I thought that looked good and I did the same. It was a fantastic idea! It was much easier to measure and layout the baffles on the stiff cardboard ONE TIME rather than do it on the gossamer thin Seven D, TWO TIMES. Here is HitchHiking's link...

Also, JoAnn's tulle is woven on a 45 degree bias so I had to cut it with the weave at 45 degrees shown here so that it wouldn't stretch in the direction I was sewing...
