Well my good old DIY hammock has died on me. It was a good friend and will be missed. So I am in need of a good big man hammock with a bugnet. Would love to find a traveler double layer. So let me know what you all have.

depending on your deffination of a BIG MAN im 6ft and 360lbs i accept me as a big man and therefore our list of hammocks are fairly short unless diy'ed the cheapest and the one i have and trying to replace only due to the higher sides and the effort it takes to get out of the hammock is the grand trunks skeeter beater pro this is a HUGE hammock 11x5ft with a zipper skeeter net and will hold 400 lbs and i spoke with HH and their safari is good to 350lbs but they said that their weight limmits a highly padded and "they told me but will deny it that this hammock will hold over 400lbs its just the suspension that they worry about but if you replace it with a whoopie and straps your all set"
There may be some Explorers at that Hennessy odds and ends closeout.
No bug net. But look at all those Safari hmmcks, their biggest, without the net or fly for $49.
Looking for something for a six foot three three hundred and fifty pound hanger. I just had back cut on so I have to get the most bang for the buck right now. I want to buy something I will be happy with for some time now.

I'm 6'4 230# and the eno dn seems plenty big after my one and only night "so far" in a hammock. You could probably sew a noseeum net to one and add a coupla loops at the top for a guy line and it'd resemble a moskito hammock for the most part but be alot more durable IMO
Bigbogg-
Right in there with you for specs.
I use an ENO Double Nest and either a Hammock Bliss bug-net or the Eno bugnet.
Sewed an extra layer on the outside for use as a pad pocket and never had bugs bite me through the bottom.
Look for no-name types on Ebay and you can find ones that go to #400.
I picked up a spare for $15 w/ $9 shipping a while back.
The Kammock is supposed to fit us normal sized guys as well.
