First I was wondering who all on here is from Ga. I know myself and Youngblood are...but who else? And second...would anyone be interested in getting a hang out put together in the N. Ga mountians? I've never "Hosted" a hang out so I am in the dark as far as the planning stages and such...

I live just outside of Athens for the time being.

And as long as there's nothing else on my schedule, I welcome any excuse to go camping.

A North Georgia hangout sounds great. It's not too far from here. I'll try to make it if it all works out schedule-wise. I've always loved the N. Georgia mountains...

Would we do this thing at an established campground? Or what?

I'm not sure what there would be to do on foot (I always go on my motorcycle), but there's a nice campground in Suches, called High Valley Resort.
It's actually got an air-strip too. There are a couple of stands of trees . . . but I've never looked at them as a hammocker. Not sure how suitable they'd be. And unfortunately, Frank raised his rates recently.

If you wanted to rough it with no facilities whatsoever . . . I've got 25 acres for sale in Jasper, GA. We could use that.

Just throwin' out some ideas.
