Epic! Love this! I have long meant to take that exact route, but so far have instead turned up Washakie Creek and then over Texas Pass, or vice versa from Big Sandy to Lonesome Lake then over Texas Pass to Washakie Creek. But I see now I really should do that Mt.Hooker/Skull lake route, it looks fantastic!
Also, great quality pics! More, More!
I've lived all my life in the east, so I feel at home and all cozy in the trees, BUT, that doesn't stop my jaw from dropping when I see scenes like these from the west!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone, it was a great time.... I'm still working on days 4-6 and hope to have up tonight....
Last two days at Big Sandy: lows of 11 to 13, highs 32-36F
At Hobbs Park ( near Lonesome Lake/Cirque of the Towers: 7 - 9F lows, 23-43. It appears though winter is a tiny bit late, it is definitely on it's way! Won't be much longer and it will be minus 40 or colder there.
