The name's Dedominick. I hopped over from BushCraftUSA, where I am currently a supporting member. I have been lurking for quite some time. I thought I couldn't handle following two forums, but I was sucked in by Shug's infectiously enthusiastic videos, Just Jeff's extensive and informative webpage, and the terribly informative and creative posts that SO many people contribute to this community.
I wanted to thank the forum for the help thus far, I've really enjoyed getting the hang of things and hope to contribute to the community in a somewhat meaningful way!
I will post some pictures from my first overnight hang at a gorgeous spot in the coastal range outside Portland soon, for now here is my virgin hang in a DIY with larkshead knots and DIY whoopie slings. It is a bit short for my liking, but gave me the bug... Sorta looking forward to some Dutch clips too
Again thanks all!
