Newbie from NC

Hey guys. I'm Nathan (or Nate as I am affectionately known) and I'm new to the whole Hammock scene (if you want to call it that). I'm a backpacker who is tired of the bulk that I take with me so I am very pumped to try this lighter option. I have only had the chance to hang in my garage but am sooooo ready to go out and try it "for real". I have had to quit watching Shug late at night cause I can't quit thinking about how I am going to hang my hammock (sigh) Lol. Love watching him and some of the others here on the forums. Thanks guys for all of the great tips.

VE backpacking with a hammock. SOOOOOOO much more comfortable. And you can dial in an ultra light kit with a little know-how (which you can find right here!)
