eFlat7-contact for any info. Challenge will be finding a shuttle. We had to self shuttle but it was a busy holiday weekend-just plan ahead on your ride.
HobieCat- yeah it's no longer mint condition! chopped up the wood for the Emberlit with it.
Skippy- we had 'food' problems in that a lot of things were closed either on Sunday or the holiday-not like we were going to starve though HA! but did burn a lot of calories in those two days. According to the machine we were 3000 calories negative each day.
mbiraman- thanks for planting a seed. I've seen a lot of Idaho doing NPS units but never thought of biking there-should have known there'd be an awesome trail.
aboyd-you are so close-a must do for you. One could even use Camp Comet as a group hang depending on how far folks would like to spread out. Starting 10-15 miles either side would make a nice afternoon ride to the hang.
Thanks questtrek. We've done a lot of very different trails this year. Next late spring its looking like the Katy Trail (thanks to SouthMark for that seed planted)...be 5 nights of hanging on that one as we make our way across Missouri.

Thats really cool. I was born and raised in Rockmart, GA, and spent a lot of time in the big city of Cedartown when I was dating my wife. I've eaten at Hometown Pizza hundreds of times on visits back home. Its not often (if ever?) that I've seen these little towns mentioned, thanks for the post!

Well, the first thing I have to tell you is that I’m not talking to any of you! That Silver Comet bike track is far too perfect! You are all WAY to spoilt to have something like that to ride on. And I just might be a little bit more than a little bit jealous! It’s far from fair! I’m going into denial... I don’t believe it, I just don’t believe it. You must have done that with mirrors. Thanks anyway for the trip report, It’s really good to see a bike and hang video. Nice bike mods and a nice, compact and free camp site.
