    GoogleTopo

jerseyhick over at WB just pointed out that google maps now has topo lines on their terrain maps. Just thought I would let everyone know, although they are only medium/low detail topos, still the easiest for me to get my hands on.

If you hit the "Terrain" button on the top right-hand corner of the map you can also get a 3D view of the map. The Terrain feature is fairly new.

The terrian view is what I am referring to....until *very* recently they did not show the topo lines on the terrian view, but they have just started adding the topo lines to the terrian view. Kinda like a simple shaded/topo hybrid map.

Now if I could ever find some software that had all trails and roads, where I could plot a route based on desired slope/elevation change as a evaluation option.
