I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know I sure did.

I used a Panasonic Digital camera (photos and video/sound) and as I have a Macbook, I used iMovie in iLife '08 to make the movie.

Great report. Thanks for sharing. I should be getting my hammock for Christmas and look forward to soloing. I would like to spend time alone with the Lord as well. If Jesus got strength from it and found it important I think we should too.

    I agree.

I look forward to my next trip. If I can get a few more items established I am looking at doing the Foothills Trail maybe in December. If it looks that way, I may post a trip thread for it and invite others along. Not sure yet.

I'm just up the road in Charlotte. After the new year I am game to go on a trip somewhere between me and you.

Sounds like a great first solo trip. I live not too far from North Greenville University and have hiked all the sections of the Foothills Trail. Solo hiking is definitely a good time to seek God's will in your life without all the usual worldly distractions.

Thanks for posting the video - brings back memories.

Gotta' say, you had me there too. . .

    Great video!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is nice to be without people sometimes, others, I enjoy the company.

Yeah, I need to work on my timing. I hope I can make a few more videos on upcoming trips. I have no problem being open, but sometimes it can be a bit trouble-making.

Enjoyed the video. Am always excited to hear others talking about the one true God when they are in the woods. I think it's cool to realize that as He was creating that spot He probably smiled knowing that you would be there enjoying it that day.
