Good Evening,
Some ground dwelling friends of mine made a big excursion along the JMT earlier this year. Now they're hooked on west coast hiking. Now they've got a big trip planned next summer to thru-hike the Tahoe Rim Trail.
I think there are a couple of members on here that are familiar with that area. I'm assuming that due to the altitude (above treeline ) that this really isn't the best area for hammocking. I can always revert back to ground dwelling but I really don't want to.
Any recommendations? Anyone have a trail report to share?? Any/all info welcome.
Thanks,
