    Mini Carabiners

Hopefully this is in the right spot. I was curious what mini carabiners everyone uses, for tarp purposes, underquilts, bear bags, etc. I've been looking for the lightest they make and found the ursalite mini biners that come in a 3.1 grams but I can't find anywhere that sells them anymore. I really like the jacks biners, for 3.5 grams they're very nice.

    What do you use?

What I use is the small S-Biners. IMO they make it a lot easier to attatch other items/ropes to them.

here's a link to some of the mini s biners off the key chains that i think alot of people use, i found the plastic ones to bend under load and am planning on ordering some of the metal ones to see if they will work a bit better, ie a bit heavier i'm sure though

The alpkit clippers look pretty good. I'm curious how much shipping would be to the states on them.

I'm pretty sure those are the same ones available at DIYgearsupply.com for $1.65 each. I've seen them one other place but can't remember off the top of my head. They can be bulk order for less than that price though; I'm sure.

    I ordered a bunch of these http://cgi.ebay.com/400249541120
They weigh 3.4g each and hold up pretty good. I've used them for my UQ suspension, tarp guys to stakes, and general nonsense on packs etc...

You don't get to pick colors, but you pretty much get 2 or 3 of each color. They are quick to ship, I got mine in a week.
