    Great work! I might have to give one of these bridge hammocks a try!

    I can't tell from your pics, but are there any knots in your paracord? Generally speaking, knots will significantly derate the strength of any rope. In addition, paracord is pretty stretchy. I wouldn't recommend it for long term use.

    Thanks is really comfy.

    There are knots in my paracord, one at each end of a side. My understanding was that a knot in a rope will reduce the strength by half...I think. it is stretchy but only over 29"long so it won't stretch too much right.

    I have amsteel but wanted to use for whoopie slings for my gathered hammock.
