    2QZQ website......couple new items

We now offer the peak bags in black No see um netting.

The ridgeline and gear organizer are now available in a 2-pocket version. The pockets are the same dimensions, therefore the overall length is half the 4 pocket version.

Sidenote -I have found the ridgeline organizer in No see um netting is great for nightime headlamp illumination.

    Thumbs up

I've got one of the mesh peak bags and it's fantastic! I've played with it in the back yard on my Traveler ... and it's great. Light weight and as you'd expect ... well made. I like it for the weight but for the ability to readily see what you have in it.

    Two pocket organizer? Great idea!

I like the peak bag in No See Um. Since I am an Ultralight hiker in the summer, I am always thinking of multiple uses for items I carry. Would it be possible to modify the peakbag to use as a mosquito headnet? Maybe add some shock cord so it stays on your head or arm loops to keep it in place?

The opening closes with shock cord and a cord lock....so it should stay on the head....the size might need to be adjusted to fit a head. PM us or contact us through our website for further discussion. Thanks! ZQ

    Great idea!
There's another future "sewing project" coming.
Maybe this winter will pass more quickly with these kinds of ideas.

While we're on the topic of modding the peak bag I have an idea for you as well....

A model with the opening facing up rather than facing toward you. (With the opening triangle or egg shaped, like the bag itself). It could function almost like a shelf.

There was a fellow making a peak bag like that recently. Can't remember who he was but we would defer to him since he thought of the design first. Here's a link with that idea in mind.
