First hang. Have a question.

I had my first hang yesterday in my GTUL at a local park (Thank you DukeDante). It was a great experience and realize what the hype is.

My only complaint was that my upper back started to get uncomfortable. It felt like where my shoulder blades are, I was being folded. Rather, I wasn't able to lay completely flat. Does this mean I need a wider hammock?

Try adjusting the tension in the hammock. Perhaps the hammock was to tightly strung up?

+1 on what Raul said. You might not have had the "magic" 30* sag. If you are confident that you did have adequate sag, check on how you were laying. Sometimes it simply means you are too close to centerline...meaning you weren't off angle enough. Those two issues are usually the culprit.
