When: December 3 and 4, 2011 (Saturday and Sunday)
Location:Blue Mountains, Kedumba Crossing (Jamison 8930-2N CMA map) Nearest towns are Katoomba and Wentworth Falls.
The Plan: The Kedumba Valley and the Kedumba River are a beautiful area that is a nice firetrail walk into the valley. The area has a lot of history and there is hut ruins and a grave of one of the early pioneers in the the area near the crossing. There is plenty of trees and also a pit toilet. Its a wonderful locationg to have a group hang. We can set times to meet when we see hows numbers look. There is Taxi access from the train at Katoomba and Wentworth Falls.
Access: There is a car park at the end Kedumba Valley where the walking starts. The walk into the valley is a great fire road. Its steepish is some places but in good condition.
Here are some pictures of the area last time I was down there. They are just off the side of the road near the hut. A great area for camping.
