I look like I can still make it this weekend. Really looking forward to it.
Any ideas on a meet time HH. Ill have to work out train times etc.
Cheers
Mic
Hi Mic, Yeah Ill be on the 10 18am train from Sydney which arrives at Wentworth Falls at just after 12.
If everyone who wants to walk down together we can meet at the gate along the Tableland Road at 1ish and walk down.
Here is a website with some nice photos of the area and google map of how to get there. Its maintained fire road all the way down but still a very nice walk and well worth it.

Looking forward to it!
Excellent.
See you at central.
Also seeing as I won't be partaking in the cook off (gluten and I sadly no longer get along ;-) I thought I might be able to offer up a prize for the best muffin. Ive got some green amsteel so Ill knock up a set of whoopies and/or daisy chains for the champion chef :-)
We'll be bringing the car with the back seat empty, so if anyone wants a lift let us know. We're thinking about going early-ish for me to have time to take a wander up to Mt Solitary & back if the mood takes me. Mrs M tells me that she'll avoid such foolishness since it'd be a waste of her good campsite leisure hangin' time.

Hi Marwood,
If ok I might take you up on the offer. I wouldn't mind an early start. Id like to explore, possibly have a crack at solitary (mind you I may lounge as well :-)
Ill PM for details if you like. Happy to pitch in for petrol etc.
Cheers
Mic
Well it looks like good weather for the Saturday and a chance of rain on the Sunday!
Looking forward to meeting everyone who is coming along. Should be some good fun.
I will be at the gates around 1pm to walk down into the valley.
Safe trip for all coming

Absolutely awesome pics.
Massive thankyou to Hitchiking for organising, Marwood and Kiwigrrl for the lift and to all that came along. I had an absolute ball and it was great to spend the weekend in such pristine surrounds with such a delightful bunch of folk. I had a ball :-)
