I agree with you. I'm kind of leery of someone who joined in Nov. 2009, only has 5 post and suddenly wants information.

I just took the survey and it didn't ask for anything like and email address or anything like that. Just straight forward questions. It also looks like it was put together by college kids as some of the questions don't have enough choices.

I did it. You should use one of those 1 to 5 (or 10) scales to get a sense of the validity of the responses. I'm no expert in info gathering but have taken part in enough surveys to notice they all use something similar.

This is a topic, in and of itself. The outdoor sports group is starting to age up. I belong to BWCA.com and there have been a few threads over there about how old the canoeing world is becoming. These new ultra-light materials like CF and kevlar are allowing us broken down old farts to keep on going far longer than our folks were able.

But, my knees still hurt!!
