Experience is the worst teacher - it presents the exam first and the lesson later. - Unknown

Im trying to calculate how many roast chinese duck I would needto eat to gather the amount of down you have in that beast. By my calculations I would need to make a whole other TQ by the time I finished to accomodate the 200+ lbs I would put on from all that duck..thats alot of down lol..
mmmm, roast duck
Its not fat, it's FLUFFY.
Looks great,

Field report for last night:
Brought the steroid quilt out for he night, knew it was going to be mild weather low of 42F, but wanted to see how it draped over me.
Coverage was good but not perfect, making it wider would have helped cause of the 6'' of loft.
Your TQ looks great. I have TQ envy.
After the first over nighter, you suggested that it you could have made it wider, foot or head? This type of TQ may be next on my DIY list.
Wow! You do realize there's no trees at the South Pole, right?
"Dyslexic knot unravellers of the world, UNITE!"
You can always harvest down from your top quilt to make an underquilt, or two or three, or maybe there's enough down in that TQ to start a cottage industry!
Love the quilt, looks like an oven
Question, have you noticed any difference in performance between the Karo and the typical baffle system?
