Hello From Enid , Oklahoma!

Hello from Northern Oklahoma! I'm still a lurker on the forum have not had a hang yet. New to the idea of Hammock hanging but an ole pro at cowboy camping with horses , camp fire cooking and dutch ovens. Currently I've transitioned more in to hiking and camping and would love to meet other hangers in Oklahoma for hiking and hanging this spring. Would also like input at to which parks are hammock friendly because I know a number of them do not like you tying horses to the trees so I don't know if they will be the same with hammocks. Still researching equipment but hopefully will have everything needed and ready to go by March

No we have not stopped shaking unfortunately. Had some more tremors today not to mention a tornado or two in the state. 2012 is going to be a fun year Even so can't wait to hit the trails
We have trees here, well in part of the state. Also I don't anticipate having any issues hooking up a hammock between a horse trailer and the truck when I get back into that activity , so trees are not always needed
