Got my scale today! My Superfly weighs in at 24.8oz with guy lines.

Thank you all for the advise, and help. It will be about a month before i order a tarp. I recently bought an UQ. peak bag undercover and some other accesories. I really like the superfly but I have seen several other tarps. I will probably end up going with the highest cost to weight ratio.
    Thanks again.

for different config options the ogee tarps from gargoyle are hard to beat. extremely versatile. i have it in sil-nyl and now i want it in cuben, which i will probably have to make myself.

Go with the SuperFly, you won't regret it. You'll be able to use it all year long. High winds, hard rain, snow, you'll be comfortable in it all.

I do like the cuben fiber stuff, but its a little rich for my blood. When I do get a new tarp (hopefully soon) I think im going to go with the superfly. Maybe down the road I will get a cuben. I do really like the one shug had in his video from HG. Does anybody have pictures or video of the doors staked out like a normal tarp. curious what it would look like.
Thanks for all the advise and help.
