i'm super pumped. scored a moskito at a used gear place i found off of craigslist. its repaired and reinforced on the end. looks like the bugnet zipper pulled off the hammock. is this a common stress point? any ideas how to aleive this stress? the lines on the ends also get tangled easily. any moskito users find a way to keep these lines in order? i was thinking of making some really narrow skins for them. ideas are more than welcome. thanx in advance. anyways, woot! on my 4th hammock!

To keep the strings from tangling, I just tie a loose loop and pull the end through. Just don't put any weight on them or the "knot" will tighten.
Someone sent me a picture of how they set it up on the ground.
Main "problem' with Byer's hammocks is that they stretch quite a bit, but at 16 oz (with zippered bugnet) and the built-in storage pocket, they're great for "in case" packing.
I was hoping this thread was about a $20 bounty on mosquitoes, I could get $100 per swat with these crazy summers we've been having.
