I have a Taurus 45ACP revolver in Ti. It uses 5 round moon clips. Light and F still equals M*A

i carry my .380 auto ... small and compact
i only take it car camping ... i never carry in the piney woods
the only thing i worry about in the piney woods is bears and a handgun (unless it's a .357 or a 44 mag) will do nothing to stop a 400lbs black bear
But there are times i took it with ... all depends on the time of year and my mood at the time
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
It's an interresting question and one I have been considering with Winter coming and the Traveler will become the prefered hammock. In the WBBB I either keep my sidearm in the shelf or in my tactical fanny pack snapped over the SRL. Been thinking about having 2QZQ make a mesh SRL specifically for weapon placement and other storage. The hope is to begin easy backpacking with a Dixon roller pack this spring and so the SRL mesh bag will be the hammock go to when the tactical fanny pack stays home and the sidearm is carried in a different way when out of the hammock. Plus I need to start being consistent with my carry/hammock storage to help prevent accidents.
model 30 glock loaded with hydrashoks here and if and when I carry it, it'll be in the hammock with me - prolly in some sortee chest pocket on my person. It's small enough that I think I could get away with that.

We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..
45cal. semi auto.
on top of my pack, on the ground right where my hand will 1st drop out of the hammock.
though it'll stay in the car when out car camping with others.
In my Clark's pocket.
I like titanium, whatever I bring I had my wife make a ridge line pouch for me.
