Pinhoti trail in Alabama shuttle service

Hey guys, in case you didnt know, there is a new shuttle service for the Pinhoti trial in Alabama. He offers rides to and from any alabama Pinhoti trialhead, for a small donation. I used this service several days ago, and it was great!----the guy showed up on time, gave me a ride to the next trailhead, gave me his cell phone number incase I had to cut my trip short in case of emergency/injury etc and needed a pickup. He even gave me a bag of homemade cookies his wife made, to take with me on the trail! If youre hiking the Pinhoti, I highly recommend this guy--I will definitely be using his service on my next pinhoti hike! ----------for more info, contact "blisterbob" at [email protected] (also, lots of information on the "alatrails forum" )
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Very cool Heads-Up. Thanks for that.
I'd like to do some of the Pinoti Trail Solo, and was wondering just that same thing, Making use of a Shuttle Service somehow.

    Thank you

Islander, alot of people meet bob at his house (near Cheah state park), leave their car there where its safe, and then have him drop them off, and pick them up when the trip is done. It would be kind of nice to know your car is safe while you hike! (some of those trailheads are pretty remote!)
