Anybody put a window in their hamock?

Awesome job! I had thought of doing something like this, but without the netting. Looks like I came late to the game.

I'm really interested to hear how this holds up long term.

Yes, I also like your idea of doing this on a netless hammock. Of course it would be even easier if this step were done during the hammock construction, instead of modifying a hammock that is already made. On the other hand, I didn't know where the window should go until I was laying in the hammock.

There was a bit of floppiness at the edges of the hammock, near my feet and up behind my left shoulder, before I added the bugnet. I had the materials so I just jumped ahead with it. I am liking how the net holds the shape together. But perhaps I was rushing things and missed an opportunity to test the window hammock prior to adding the net.
